“When we set out to establish a university, we dreamed not only of the realization of dreams but also of beyond imagination. It was very important to have our own brain and workforce to raise our own people on the island, which is located in one of the most important geographies of the world like Cyprus. While the course of technology continued to be dizzying in the 21st century, we were aware of the fact that human resources are the most important power. Especially at this point, to overcome the difficulties where we experience in our own sector, it was important to raise young people of brand new brains who can dream beyond limits, not only for our country, but also for many countries around the world.

The Birinci Group took the first step in this field by obtaining the Preliminary Permit from the Ministry of National Education of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus under the name of establishing a university project in 2014, on the path that Mr. Ertan Birinci set out with these words. The name of the university, which was initially targeted as "Lefkosa Kosmopolitan University", was decided as "15 Kasım Cyprus University" based on November 15, which is the foundation year of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2017.
Our university, which started its academic life in the Fall Semester of 2018-2019, continues its education life with our applied education centres besides our campus located in the centre of the capital Nicosia and our Düzova campuses.
